• Product information

  The virgin wool upper material has been woven into traditional Portuguese Burel fabric (wool loden) by our partner, Ecola. This special process gives this model a finely structured surface.

  The wool upper material and lining keeps our feet nice and warm in cold weather, and its climate-regulating properties also ensure they don’t sweat. Moreover, wool has a naturally water-repellent effect.

  Upper:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) – burgundy red

  Membrane:
  100% polyester containing approx. 75% recycled material

  Lining / insole:
  Felted wool loden (100% virgin wool) [Nordwolle]

  Edging:
  Microfiber (100% polyamide) – medium blue

  Outsole:
  Wildling outsoles are made of synthetic rubber (partially recycled), silica and natural rubber. Depending on the model, cork particles may be included. Color

• Fit

  True to size as measured with the Fitkit. Runs a little wider and provides ample room at the forefoot. For narrow feet, we recommend an insole.

• Care

  Waterproofing before first-time wear

  As with all Wildling minimal shoes, this model is made with a keen eye for detail. Important note: This model is not pre-waterproofed. We gladly leave the decision of whether you want to give your shoes extra protection to you.

  You can make the upper more water repellent by carefully applying a waterproofing treatment.

  Cleaning

  The best way to clean soiled shoes is by knocking them together when they are dry, brushing them carefully as needed when dry, or by wiping them carefully with a damp cloth. Not machine washable.

  For stubborn stains, we recommend gentle cleaning with our biodegradable cleaning solution "Drops".

  Post-treatment

  We recommend follow-up waterproofing treatments with a suitable product if necessary.

• Additional notes

  Every single shoe is a handmade one of a kind, with an upper made from natural material. The structure and coloration may exhibit minor irregularities.

  A hue appears different depending on the lighting conditions. That's why colors always look a little different on the screen, in artificial light at home, or outside in sunlight.

  When putting on, please note: Widen the opening of the shoe sufficiently by loosening the laces. This minimizes wear on the material and extends the life of the shoe.

  When using ride-on toys, we recommend additional protection against scuffing.
