So light, so free - the fact that a walk in Wildlings almost feels like walking barefoot is largely due to the Wildling soles. They are something very special (and the result of a lot of tinkering).

Wildlings are produced in Portugal - hand in hand with like-minded partners who all share a common value system and responsibly create that special Wildling feeling. The soles offer plenty of flexibility and leave room for natural movement. They protect our feet and still allow us to feel the ground.

It all started with the extremely flexible Gap Sole. By popular demand, other soles have since been added to accompany us on our adventures, whatever the weather may bring. So every foot can find the right sole.

Airy, light, extremely flexible

Gap Sole

What could be more pleasant than the light and airy feel of freedom for our feet on warm days? The Gap Sole has the courage to leave a gap: With its characteristic sole gap, it is a classic among Wildling soles - and wonderfully light. Thanks to its special design and a thickness of just 2 to 3.5 millimetres, it offers us the greatest possible freedom of movement and connects us with the ground beneath our feet. An excursion with the Gap Sole? It almost feels like flying.

Water-repellent – yet flexible

Pure Sole

That little bit of drizzle? The Pure Sole simply makes us smile. Because this Wildling sole combines the best of both worlds: On the one hand, it pampers our feet with its high flexibility. On the other hand, it fulfills the need for more protection against moisture. As a water-repellent sole, it carries us comfortably through every season.

Shell Sole

There‘s mucky weather outside, but inside cabin fever is looming? The Shell Sole is our first choice for wet weather. It encloses our foot like a shell and offers us maximum protection when we are out and about in the rain. It was created in response to the many requests for a robust sole fit for wild adventures. After all, they sometimes lead us through puddles and mud. Is it raining? Here we come!

Cub Sole

Every adventure, no matter how wild, begins with the first step and our little ones can learn to walk with the Cub Sole. On the one hand, the particularly thin sole offers them protection, while on the other hand, it also offers plenty of flexibility. This allows little feet to make the most of their full range of movement and learn healthy movement patterns from the very first step.

Freedom for the feet

High heels, narrow toes, thick soles: conventional shoes tend to constrict our feet and can take away our flexibility when walking, running and jumping. With Wildlings, on the other hand, our feet can breathe a sigh of relief: they are designed to fit the anatomical shape of the foot and give it plenty of freedom. A particularly thin and flexible sole allows natural movements to take place unhindered. And best of all, we can wiggle our toes in them as much as we like.

How sustainable are Wildling soles?

The Wildling soles deliver great things: on the one hand, they give us a wonderful barefoot feeling when walking - particularly light, thin and flexible. On the other hand, they should be as sustainable and regenerative as possible. That is why it is a constant “work in progress” to make the soles ever more durable and abrasion-resistant and to increase their recyclability. The Gap sole, for example, consists largely of recycled materials. And the goal is clear, to produce new soles from old Wildling soles.

The story of a very special sole

It had to be functional and light, it had to allow the foot to move freely - and it had to be produced sustainably and fairly. The first Wildling sole was the result of countless hours of tinkering and research, as well as setbacks and breakthroughs. When the design of the extremely thin, curved sole with the characteristic gap was finally finished, the next challenge soon followed: Who could produce such a novel sole?
