Torn back and forth...

Oh, dear Wildling team, what can I say? For a good two years now, my daughter and I have only been wearing wildlings. I still remember the first moment with wildlings on my feet: It was like a cozy, comfortable “sofa feeling” on my feet, something I had never experienced before.
I love the comfort and sustainable production with high-quality materials. I also love (contrary to the current fast fashion trend) being careful with the shoes, stuffing, gluing and impregnating them after numerous adventures together, instead of repairing them at the slightest flaw. They have character!
I experience the best moments with winter wildlings in the snow. It's incredibly intense - it's like walking through the snow with thick socks on. And no: despite the thin sole, your feet don't get cold - as long as you keep moving.
Now I thought I'd try a model with a new sole, as it seems as though you're equipping all the savages with the new sole piece by piece. Visually, the Feltro are beautiful. High-quality workmanship as always and I really liked the felted material. Now comes the BUT: When I slipped in, there was no more “wildling feeling.” The shoes feel bulky and “hard” on the foot. I took them off immediately. Before I send them back, I thought I'd show them to my mom (she doesn't have any wildlings yet). She was completely impressed and “adopted” herself. My conclusion and fear at this point: I can imagine that with the “thick” sole without a sole gap you will certainly be able to win new customers (who previously doubted the water resistance) who are quite impressed - because you are simply great too:) But I hope from the bottom of my heart that the “old” sole does not completely disappear, so that even the “old”, purist wildling lovers will continue to get their money's worth...
Size recommendation:
Buy one size larger.
