The team behind Wildling – Photography
Besides the input of the founders, a lot of creative energy and talent has gone into creating Wildling and its world. In this series let us introduce you one-by-one to the heads and hearts that made this possible.
Sarah Pabst – Capturing the Essence of Wild
Wildling’s imagery was captured by Sarah Pabst, our sister (in law).
Sarah is a freelance documentary photographer based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Her photographic work focuses mainly on women and identity topics. Recently she rediscovered her forgotten love for film and medium format cameras.
The Wildling campaign is a result of her love for wild kids, the dark forests where she grew up and a mix of digital and analogue cameras.
In 2014 she was awarded with the Canon Profifoto grant and in 2015 with a 3rd prize in the “Picture of the Year”, Latinamerica.
Her work was exhibited internationally in the USA, Argentina and Germany and published inVice, Profifoto, Zeit online, FAZ, Max Planck Journal and Revista Pecado, among others. The iconic Wildling image photo was chosen for a portrait exhibition in the Black Box Gallery, Oregon.
